- Fry ground meat in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the onions once the meat has browned, and sauté.

- Once the meat has browned as shown above, add the green peppers and stir-fry.

- Toss in the corn and mix together as shown above. Add the sake and turn the heat up to high for about 3 seconds to evaporate the alcohol, turn it back down to medium, and mix together thoroughly.

- Add sugar and curry powder and stir, then add soy sauce and stir again. Finally, add salt and pepper to taste.

- You can get a slightly deeper flavor if you add the ✿ginger in step 5 (to taste).
- Turn off the heat momentarily, and mix in the water-dissolved katakuriko. Mix together over low heat until it thickens, and you are done.

- Serve onto plates and enjoy. It goes well with rice.

- I cut up celery into equal-sized chunks and fried it up. This makes celery easy to eat even for those of you who don't like it.
