- 2 cups Black Chickpea Sprouts
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 Dry Red Chillies
- 1 tsp Dry Mango powder or Amchur
- 2 tsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds
- 2 Sprigs Curry Leaves
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Chat Masala
- 1 finely chopped Onion

- Soak Chickpeas overnight for best results. Prior to soaking, wash and rinse them under running water thoroughly. Add clean drinking water to them and soak. This is important as we are not going to throw away the water.
- We need to boil it using the same water in which they were soaked. Do not over boil. Take water that's required. Do not take whole of it. The rest of it can be used for any Curry or Gravy.
- In a pan, heat ghee and add mustard seeds, asafoetida and dry red chillies. As soon as they crackle, and curry leaves.
